The Art & History Museums Maitland formed in 2010 and includes five museums. The largest of the museums is the Maitland Art Center and is home to a number of significant collections including the artworks of its founder J. Andre’ Smith, Bok Fellows including Milton Avery and contemporary Central Florida artists. The other museums include the Maitland Historical Museum, the Telephone Museum, the Waterhouse Residence Museum and the Carpentry Shop Museum.

Orange County Regional History Center

Set in the former 1927 Orange County Courthouse, this state-of-the-art venue brings history to life through audio and visual presentations, hands-on exhibits, education programs, and special events that explore the people, places and events that shaped Central Florida. Located in the heart of downtown Orlando, the History Center offers four floors of dynamic permanent exhibits exploring 12,000 years of Central Florida history.

The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art

The Morse Museum houses the world’s most comprehensive collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848–1933), including the artist and designer’s jewelry, pottery, paintings, art glass, leaded-glass lamps and windows; his chapel interior from the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago; and art and architectural objects from his Long Island country estate, Laurelton Hall. The Museum’s holdings also include American art pottery and late 19th- and early 20th-century American art.
